Aerial Tram
Enjoy the incredible views of the Smoky Mountains on board the Aerial Tram in Gatlinburg, which travels between downtown Gatlinburg, and the Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort & Amusement Park. The tram is fun for all ages, and departs every twenty minutes from the sidewalk of downtown Gatlinburg. You won't want to miss this fascinating experience, for your convenience as well as the fun of it all! You can take the tram not just for the views, but it also goes directly to many available activities. The tramway works on a jig-back system of two counter-balanced cars. Each car is capable of holding 120 passengers, and one attendant.
One of America's Largest Aerial Tramways departs regularly from downtown Gatlinburg, going directly to the Ski Resort and Amusement Park. The two 120 passenger counter balanced cars provide an experience for all ages, from the young to the young at heart. Ober Gatlinburg is a year-round amusement park and ski resort with something exciting for everyone. Ice skate in any season at the massive climate-controlled indoor arena. Ski and snowboard from mid-December through early March on eight fabulous trails designed for beginners to experts. Opening in 2008 is the Nocturnal House with live native wildlife such as raccoon, skunk, opossum and other small mammals – a new addition to the Municipal Black Bear Habitat, which offers a close-up view of one of the Smokies most revered animals!

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.
